I am sitting here working on sessions for this weekend and I hopped on the blog to see if I had written on one of the subjects. I found all sorts of cool stuff that I posted in past years! I am not trying to toot my own horn here - there was much posted in the way of links, pictures and words from you guys there - even a short video from Eldon!! So next time your bored start at the beginning of this blog and get caught up!! You can also send me anything you would like posted: ideas, pictures, links, pieces of writing - whatever!
Since I am on here anyways, allow me to talk for a quick second about the fundraiser on April 16th! We are hosting an evening at Glenmore Christian Academy. Tickets cost $25 and will include a show by the Youth Singers of Calgary (their adult groups) and desert. This is a fundraiser and not just a camp event - we will be taking a free-will offering and selling tickets for raffles for various items of worth that have been donated for the event. What we are asking of you is to invite your folks, family members and others you think might want to give to this cause! We are trying to raise money to finish the new lodge - how cool is that going to be!! Without enough funds we will be able to finish the outside but then it will have to be locked up and sit waiting for enough money to complete it. With the money we have for it right now a mortgage would eat up too much on a monthly basis for us to be able to run. We are also asking you to PRAY because God works magic through our prayers!!
